Member of the Royal Singing Union
Wassenaar Vocaliter was founded in 1967 and has grown into a well established choir. Every year the choir performs at least two times, preferably with a professional orchestra and soloists. Most performances take place in the Dorpskerk in Wassenaar.
In the past the choir has sung works by Bach, Mozart, Händel, Schubert, Duruflé, Rutter and Bliss but has also taken on a rather special work by the composer Ernest Bloch.
The conductor of Wassenaar Vocaliter is Wim de Ru (interim), who turns our weekly singing exercise into an inspiring evening.
Weekly rehearsals take place every Monday from 19:45 to 22:00 in the NPB building,
Lange Kerkdam 46, Wassenaar.
Listening to music is a pleasure, to join is an experience.
If you are up for something new or singing in a choir is something you have done in the past, consider joining our choir!
You are very welcome to come to one of our Monday rehearsals and experience how relaxing singing can be.
